Holiday Art: Snow Globes

During the holidays, our students get so excited about the occasional snowfalls we get here in NC, all of the holiday lights and decorations, and just the overall hype of family time coming up. That all being said, we like to offer some easy and festive art that is simply fun for these children who are all so anxious for the holidays to officially begin.

First, I prepared the materials in advance. I cut circles out of light blue card stock for snow globes, followed by a curved trapezoid shape for the base of the snow globes. Then, I had some green triangles cut out along with little white circles for snow balls.

The kids could use glue and stickers to design a little snow scene in their paper globes, along with markers and colored pencils to add some detail.

As always, the kids were very proud of their artwork, each scene being colorful and unique from each other's. They were delighted to bring their artwork home to add to their own decor.

Thanks as always for reading along, and I hope that you got some fun ideas for your own activities!

Happy Holidays,
Angelique
